Yesterday Louie and I got into a car accident. It wasn’t even his fault, some lady ran a stop sign, hit us, and made us crash into the oncoming car. It was the scariest thing ever and we were both in shock for the longest time ever. I had to go to the hospital even though I didn’t want to, but everyone was so nice to us, especially the people in Coronado and the paramedics. All I had was chest bruising and a seat belt scrape and he got a long and nasty cut on his shoulder.
I was sad his car was totaled and our plans were ruined. But I’m just glad we’re both alive and well. I feel like it strengthened our relationship and made us appreciate each other so much more. Like he said, if this didn’t tear us apart, what can?
